Safari Highligts:

Nyungwe forest is a tropical rain forest which protects a variety of chimpanzees and other primates like the white and black Columbus, vervet monkeys, and a variety of plants. Colourful butterflies and birds can be spotted. Activities encountered include: the chimpanzee trekking, canopy walk, nature walk, and bird watching, which is awesome!

Day 1: Kigali-Nyungwe Forest

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Nyungwe forest National Park, and before you reach, take an en-route stop at some interesting cultural sites, museums, Rwanda genocide memorial centre. Have lunch en route. Proceed to the park for an evening tea plantation nature walk, and thereafter retire at Nyungwe forest lodge, for dinner and overnight on HB.

Day 2: Nyungwe Chimpanzee Tracking

Have an early morning breakfast, meet at the park headquarters for the briefing from the park officials and thereafter enter the jungle to search for the chimps. This experience is unforgettable as the forest offers not only the chimps but also other primates, plants, a variety of birds and colourful butterflies. Among the primates are: the white and black Columbus, vervet monkey and manageably primates.

Return to lodge for lunch and thereafter spend the evening enjoying the canopy walk, which provides a clear opportunity to view the forest canopies with a close view of the more primates, birds, colourful butterflies and flora. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight based on FB.

Day 3: Nyungwe Forest-Kigali

After breakfast, move on to another unforgettable activity- canopy walk; take another nature walk in the forest to spot more primates and bird species. The canopy walk will provide you with a great opportunity to view a variety of bird species.

Return to the lodge for lunch and drive to Kigali with an en-route stopover to other cultural sites to shop, and after that, drive to the airport for your return flight.
