MURCHISON FALLS SAFARI | 3 days
The Murchison Falls, where the world’s longest river, the Nile River, narrows from 50m into an 8m gorge (at the top), are possibly the most powerful natural surge of water in the world; and the biggest and most popular National Park in Uganda is named after these falls. Your 3-day safari in and around this park offers you an opportunity to explore its abundant flora and fauna, covering over 400 and 70 bird and mammal species, respectively.
Day 1: Travel (by road) from Kampala to the park
Our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and transport you in a very comfortable vehicle to the park. You will drive straight to the top of the falls and have a picnic lunch there, after which you can treat your eyes to the spectacular view of the breathtaking flow of the waters of the Nile River before, after and at this gorge.
After the falls experience, you’ll be driven to the hotel/lodge (Nile Safari Camp or Paraa Safari Lodge) where you will have your dinner and overnight stay. *Meals include breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Transit time: 5 hrs approx. distance: 350km

You may return to the lodge for lunch after the game drive.
There’s a luxury boat cruise setting off at 2:00p.m at Paraa aboard which you’ll sail along the Nile to the bottom of the falls and catch a glimpse of other wildlife species like crocodiles, more buffalos, hippos and a variety of birds. Our guide will then move you back to your lodge for the evening/night.

Boat cruise: 3 hrs
Day 3: Travel through Budongo Forest back to Kampala

Our guide will then drive you through Masindi town for lunch, whereafter you will head straight back to Kampala.
